Project Description

The game's plot is similar to the show, as the player controls Phineas Flynn and his stepbrother Ferb Fletcher as they take part in several schemes and adventures for their summer vacation. The two as well attempt to avoid their sister Candace, who is persistent in trying to "bust" them. Mini games are scattered throughout the game, building up the side foundation.

Key Responsibilities

By the end of pre-production Disney no longer wanted to work with Handheld Games. The documentation created during pre-production was given to another studio who kept parts and adjusted everything else to match their own studio development style and engine.

  • Game Design Document - Wrote the original Game Design Document based on what we saw in the show while it was in animatic form.

  • Core Gameplay - The original game was based on using swiping movements to build momentum for going through levels with zany antics

  • Level Design - Basic level design for the vertical slice. Showcasing the game’s intent.

  • Mini-games - Designed out mini-games to be spread throughout the main gameplay

  • SCRUM Master - Our studio wanted to implement SCRUM, so this was the project we wanted to practice it with. My daily responsibility was to go through and see how everyone was doing.
